The Jr. B Cochrane Generals and the Heritage Junior Hockey League (HJHL) have released their schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

The Gens kick off their season with a home-and-home exhibition series against the Airdrie Thunder on Sept. 6 and 7. Cochrane hosts the second game.

After that, their 38-game regular season schedule begins on Sept. 20. The Gens play their first six games on the road before their home opener on Oct. 11 against the High River Flyers. It was the Flyers who ended the Gens brief playoff run last year with an overtime victory in game three of the opening round.

The Gens have begun their weekly skates leading up to their three-day main camp from Aug. 29 to Sept. 1.

All 13 teams are returning to HJHL, seven in the north division and six in the south. Last season, the Okotoks Bisons won their third consecutive HJHL title and went on to win gold in provincials.
