Generals Close out round two of Playoffs

The Generals close out round two of playoffs defeating Strathmore in an exciting double overtime win by Jonny Pictin to make it 3-2 game.  It all started with Kris Keller battling in the corner with two Strathmore players and was able to pop the puck loose along the boards where Darren Schmautz pick up the puck from behind the net passing to Jonny who put it in for the win. The game started off slow with no scoring in the first period, in the second period the Generals scored two goals from Pictin and Geddes.  In the third period Strathmore tied up the game within the first 7 minutes of the period to send the game to overtime.  However this would not have happen if it was not for the outstanding performance of Brady Markham in goal making the appropriate saves when needed to stopping 41 of the 43 shots.  Way to go Generals.
